Avebury's Red Lion Pub

The Red Lion pub is located in Avebury, a village in Wiltshire, within the south-west of England. Having researched not only the pub, but also the village, I find this location could contain one of the most interesting hauntings I will ever discuss on this blog. The location also contains many apparitions, and a few dubious claims of activity. History It's impossible to discuss The Red Lion without talking about the surrounding area of Avebury. I won't discuss the many historical sites the village boasts in detail, but I will definitely give them a mention along with a bit of context. As you can see from the above image, the Red Lion is located within the middle of a stone circle, and is in the middle of an area known as Avebury Henge. The henge was built and altered during the Neolithic period, roughly between 2850 BC and 2200 BC. Most Haunted Halloween Week PT1 Review

Introduction On the 31st of October 2023, Most Haunted posted the first of a brand new five part investigation. As of writing this review, I have only seen the first part so that I can treat each segment as it's own video with it's own positives and negatives. This way I won't be at all swayed by anything which may or may not occur in the future parts. As I said at the start of my previous Most Haunted review, I try to be as fair as I can which means I will include all positives and negatives I see. I will praise any evidence they may capture, but I will acknowledge, and possibly even argue towards, a skeptical point of view.  I have to acknowledge here that I feel I have been quite critical in this review, but this isn't because I want to drag the Most Haunted team down, it's because I want to try and pull them up.
