The Clock House

Image
Located on Horsham Road in Surrey, England, the oldest part of the Clock House is said to have been built in the 1100s, but the official statement about the house is that it dates back to the 1400s. This location was investigated by the Most Haunted team while Fred Batt, the then owner of the house, was still a member as the team's demonologist. The hauntings here involve monks, children, and a spirit who Fred believes followed him home from the nightclub he owned.  History The Clock House has proven to be an incredibly difficult location to research for a couple of reasons. One is that it seems only Most Haunted have investigated it, but another is that there are a few locations that go by the name of 'the Clock House'. There are three which are grade II listed buildings, this one included. The two other Clock Houses exist on Dorking Lane, in Surrey, and on Sychem Lane; which is in Capel, Tunbridge, in the county of Kent. The alledgedly haunted Clock House pict...

Alton Towers: Hex Experiences

Image
On the 16th of May 2024, the YouTube paranormal researcher 'Don't Scare Claire' shared a number of images to Facebook. These images were texts from an Alton Towers ride operator, and they also included images of an unexplained piece of CCTV footage. The texts were sent to Claire in response to a video she made on YouTube which covers the history of Alton Towers along with it's hauntings. To make sure that this employees experiences are easier to find than in images on Facebook, or spoken in a YouTube video, this article will document everything that they've said. At the very end of the article, I will include the images of the texts so that you know exactly how everything was said as I will make minor corrections in grammar and spelling in order to make for an easier read.  The Experiences 'Hello! I'm an Alton Towers rides employee! I worked on Hex for the majority of last year when it was open; and closed too. I can confirm in your video about i...

Pengersick Castle

Image
Named as possibly the most haunted castle in Britain, Pengersick Castle is no stranger to rumours and legends surrounding violence and the paranormal. Located in the village of Praa Sands, Cornwall, England, Pengersick Castle has been called both a fortified manor house, and a fortified tower house. The castle used to be much larger before falling into ruin by 1738, and so today only the tower from the 1400s remains standing. This location is definitely one of the wilder as far as paranormal claims and legends are concerned; some of which discuss mermaids, serpents, demonic horses, stolen treasure, and violence against religious folk. It seems this location is packed with ghostly activity and filled with tales which have been told over the years.  History There is evidence that a house has existed on the site of Pengersick Castle since the 1200s. Some sources has said the 12th century, so it may be that the Pengersick family lived on the site as early as the 1100s. The ...

Journal Entry 5

Image
2/10/22 - Entry 5 The time is 23:41 and I am researching the Warren's museum. I was recommended by YouTube a video of a team, channel OVERNIGHT, who investigated the Warren's museum.  Notes On Protection .  Imagine your aura surrounded in a bright white light .  Ask God to protect you from anything evil otherworldly, demonic, or inhuman Ed Warren, according to Tony (last name I can't remember, but leads the group the Warrens founded), used that protection as did Lorraine and those they work with use it and it apparently works. It adds as protection because the evil will use any weakness in aura.  According to the Warrens 9PM-6AM is when spirits are active, 3AM is the most active and most dangerous hour. My Present Thoughts I remember this journal entry was prompted by me discovering the OVERNIGHT team's investigation of the Warren museum, and so I felt it important to document this. The Warren museum was owned by the paranormal investigators Ed and Lorrai...

The Albert Hall

Image
The Albert Hall, located in Manchester, England, was built as a church before being used as a nightclub and then as an events venue. The ground floor has been used as part of the church, but more famously it has been used as 'Brannigans' nightclub, and presently it houses 'Alberts Schloss'. It also seems the ground floor was once home to a car showroom. With the drinking culture housed in clubs such as Brannigans showing a clear contradiction to the preaching of the church, it's thought that the spirit of this church's founder haunts the location out of disapproval for the establishment's new-found culture.  History A church has stood on the site prior to the Albert Hall as the space had been used as the New Jerusalem Church from 1793 until the end of the 1800s. This older church belonged to the Swedenborgian congregation. Once this old church was gone, the Albert Hall was commissioned by the Methodist Church and designed by William James Morley ...
