The story of the Basano Vase is thought to originate either near to or within Napoli, Italy. Very little is known about the vase, or it's story, and it seems like the legend has been passed down purely through word of mouth. Apparently only one picture exists of the real vase, and there are no personal experiences or eyewitness accounts. All people know is the rumour of a curse which follows the vase wherever it goes. It's said that whoever owns the Basano Vase dies within three months of owning it, and this all started when an Italian bride was discovered dead while holding the vase. In this article, we will be looking at an event which happened live that I've transcribed which occured as an audience member called Miranda was being questioned about an experience she shared for OVERNIGHT's web-series 'Haunted Homies'. OVERNIGHT is a paranormal investigation team based in America, and they upload their investigations to YouTube. During their 'Haunted Homies' series, they discuss the paranormal to an audience, and they read out experiences which the audience members have submitted to them prior to the event. Once the experience is read out, the team invites the person the experience belongs to on stage, and then the person is questioned about the experience by the OVERNIGHT team.  This transcript covers a period of time towards the end of when Miranda was questioned about her experience. The legend of 'Drake's drum' refers to a snare drum which was supposedly owned by the renowned English privateer Sir Francis Drake. During Drake's dying days, it is said he instructed for the drum to be taken to his home of Buckland Abbey, located in England. The legend also says that Drake himself told those around him, during his dying days, that if ever the drum was to be stuck then he would return from the grave to defend England from peril. This legend has inspired poems, children's books, and it's been said that the drum has been heard during a number of historical events since Drake's passing. The Grand Grimoire is a historical text shrouded in mystery with varying claims about both it's origins and authorship. Some claim this book to be written based on the writings of the biblical King Solomon, and to have been found in his tomb, while others have speculated it was written by Pope Honorius III. What we know for sure is that after this book was published in France, it spread to colonies the country held at the time.
