Throughout the start of 2024, I've been taking a close look at the Most Haunted team; specifically into their investigations of the Gisburne Estate and the location they dub as 'The Witches Cottage'. I have reviewed each of these episodes, of which there are six in total, but I want to give my overall thoughts on the Most Haunted team and their investigative practices following what I saw across their five part Halloween special. This five part investigation was of the Gisburne Estate location, of which 'The Witches Cottage' is part of. The only thing I will say on the solo 'Witches Cottage' investigation, which was not in the five part special, is that the team was always together and they experienced lots of tapping phenomena. The other day I was chatting to some people in work about my interest in the paranormal and it got me thinking. We were discussing the alledgedly haunted dolls I own, and if I've experienced anything with them, and that then led to me discussing my solo ouija board sessions, one of which is pictured above. I've also been keeping up with the OVERNIGHT channel on YouTube and that really got me thinking. I've done a number of investigations but very little has occured. You then have the flip side to what I've found, such as public opinion and youtube channels which say lots should occur, especially if you poke the theoretical bear with the flattened out stick.  The particular videos from the OVERNIGHT channel I'm referencing are, of course, their investigations of Ed and Lorraine Warren's museum. This post will show the results of the investigation I conducted on the 4th of May 2021. This is the sixth 'Spirit Talker' app based investigation I have done in this location, a flat in the Stockport area of England. It is the eleventh time in total where I had used the app. The way the app works is it uses a device's, in this case a tablet's, sensors to detect changes in the area around it. These changes can be vibrations, magnetic fields, and temperature etc. As the tablet I use doesn't have all of the sensors the app needs to fully function, the app only picks up on vibrations for me. Because of this, I tend to avoid touching my tablet during an investigation in order for it to remain as still as possible. I have experimented though, and it doesn't seem moving the device has an effect on output of words. This is it: the big one. This post will be incredibly important in determining the validity of the 'Spirit Talker' app. It will not, however, lead to a definitive conclusion. This post will analyse the first five word list investigations I conducted in a flat in the Stockport area of the England. These words lists were amongst the first ten I ever conducted with this app, and so are not as consistent in length as they become later on down the line. An example of this is the first of these words lists is only three words long.
