RAF East Kirkby

Image
The Royal Air Force base in East Kirkby opened as an RAF airfield during 1943 and was home to a number of Lancaster Bombers; the aircraft used to drop the bouncing bomb during the Dambuster's raid. On the 17th of April 1945, an accidental explosion occured at this airfield which caused a number of casualties, some of which were fatal. The explosion also resulted in the destruction of six Lancaster Bombers, and the damage of fourteen more. Following the events of World War Two, the airfield was officially closed during 1958 and then sold by the government between 1964 and 1968. Today, a portion of the airfield forms part of the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre. A few hauntings have been reported at this site, mainly around the old control tower. The ghosts of those who died in the accident, along with one connected to a wreckage in the museum have been reported along with footsteps and disembodied voices.  History This Royal Air Force Base is located in East Kirkby,

Macy's Sixth Sense

Image
In this article, we will be looking at the final transcribed experience which was shared by an audience member for OVERNIGHT's web-series 'Haunted Homies'. OVERNIGHT is a paranormal investigation team based in America, and they upload their investigations to YouTube. Durijg their 'Hauhted Homies' series, they discuss the paranormal infront of an audience, and they read out the experiences which the audience members have submitted to them prior to the event. Once the experience is read out, the team invites the person the experience belongs to onto the stage, and then the person is questioned on the experience by the OVERNIGHT team.  This particular experience was shared by Macy, and is actually three seperate paranormal experiences she has had. Usually I split seperate experiences into different articles, as the purpose of these articles is to highlight individual paranormal experiences, but there is an important factor at play for Macy which overshadows

Belgrave Hall

Image
Located in the village of Belgrave, close to the city of Leicester in England, Belgrave Hall was built between 1709 and 1713. The hall has had numerous owners over the years, some of which were famous to both history and the local area. During 1936, the hall was sold again and became a museum with it's garden becoming a public park. Discussions regarding the hall being haunted seem to have sparked attention following the public release of cctv footage captured on the 23rd of December 1998. The footage showed what people thought to be ghostly white figures outside the hall, and this prompted the location to be investigated by numerous teams. It's thought at least three apparitions haunt this location, with even more spirits, plus ones originating from a time before the house was built, being reported.  History   When Belgrave Hall was built, it was located in a then small village three miles from the town, now city, of Leicester. It was built for the hosiery merchant

Security Officer Rob's Ghostly Intruder

Image
On the 11th of June 2024, the paranormal youtuber and researcher 'Don't Scare Claire' sent me the images of some texts she had recieved, along with a quoted email, of an experience which had been shared with her. The original texts and email were shared to Claire by 'security officer Rob'; a man who worked as a security officer at the Alton Towers resort roughly ten years ago. He worked there between 2011 and 2015 and had to work the night shift every eight weeks. Rob has also shared that these were the worst shifts he ever had to do. It's important to note at this point that the log flume Rob discusses was located where the Wickerman rollercoaster now stands. I also believe the courtyard he mentions may be the courtyard which is in Mutiny Bay. In this article I have typed up the texts and email, while also trying my best to tidy up the spelling and grammar to provide for an easier reading experience. I have kept what was written as close as I could
