Journal Entry 2

Image
Hello, and thank you for reading this post. This is the second journal entry I wrote way back at the start of 2022. It will likely be just as informal as the previous journal entry post, but as I said then; this is as real as it gets. The point of these posts is to not only show you a bit of my behind the scenes commentary, but also to give you an idea of what a real paranormal investigation is like and what kind of results you can expect to happen. It also shows that anyone can investigate, and it will hopefully show how you can progress in the paranormal field. I hope you enjoy. 15/01/22 - Entry 2 The time is 22:11 and I can confirm I will not be investigating tonight. I can, however, make some comments on this mornings session. I commented that the 'light activity' occured for perhaps the first 15 minutes of the session, this time featured 20 words.  The investigation began at 03:00:13 and the first word 'a woman here' was spoken at 03:01:04. There were s

Stockport Flat Investigation 6

This post will show the results of the investigation I conducted on the 4th of May 2021. This is the sixth 'Spirit Talker' app based investigation I have done in this location, a flat in the Stockport area of England. It is the eleventh time in total where I had used the app. The way the app works is it uses a device's, in this case a tablet's, sensors to detect changes in the area around it. These changes can be vibrations, magnetic fields, and temperature etc. As the tablet I use doesn't have all of the sensors the app needs to fully function, the app only picks up on vibrations for me. Because of this, I tend to avoid touching my tablet during an investigation in order for it to remain as still as possible. I have experimented though, and it doesn't seem moving the device has an effect on output of words. So, this app is either a random word generator or is genuinely saying what spirits around it are wanting to say. Below this post will be exactly

Journal Entry 1

Hello! This is probably going to be my least formal post as it is based purely on my own writings about experiences regarding investigations. This journal, which you can see pictured above, is something I decided to do a while ago now and is something I keep meaning to add to but keep forgetting about. I decided to get it because if you experience something, whether that be in an investigation or not, your memory of the event changes. The more time you leave it, the more likely you are to either forget about the experience entirely, or just change a fair few significant details without knowing. The journal allows for me to write down everything that I remember happening in an investigation as close to the time as possible. I don't make these notes during the investigation as that is impractical due to near to no lighting, but I try to remember to add to the journal once the investigation is complete.  That being said, not every entry may be investigation related. I'

Help! My House Is Haunted S4 E2 Review

Image
Introduction   This is my review of the second episode of the fourth season of 'Help! My House Is Haunted'. In this episode, Barri Gai, Jayne Harris, and Ian Lawman travel to the city of Derby, England, to help Asha and her daughter Zaria. In the car on the way to the house, which has been Asha's home for four years, Jayne notes that it is the only city in England to be named by the vikings. I'll do this review exactly as I did the previous one in regards to format, so I'll include a number of transcripts from the episode, followed by notes on the investigation, then a summary of activity, then followed by my overall thoughts and review of the episode. I found this episode quite interesting as it highlights a question I often wonder about when it comes to the paranormal, which is 'can all faiths co-exist?' By this, I mean that similar things exist in different faiths, for instance the example here is the jinn and demons. So, the question is are t

Souter Lighthouse

The world's first lighthouse to be powered by electricity, Souter Lighthouse was investigated by Yvette Fielding and the rest of the Most Haunted team during the first season of the programme; but how haunted is it really?  The sources I will be using 1.   The National Trust 2.   The National Trust: Lighthouse History 3.   National Trust Collections 4.   Britain Express 5.   Co-Curate 6.   Kiddle 7.   A Bit About Britain 8.   The Northern Echo 9.   The Northern Echo: Lighthouse Ghosts 10.   Lighthouse Accommodation 11.   The Handbook 12.   Co-Curate: Lighthouse Ghosts History First built in 1871 by Sir James Douglas, Souter Lighthouse is located along England's east coast between Marsden and Whitburn. As mentioned earlier, it is also the first lighthouse in the world purpose built to use electricity. During 1860, twenty shipwrecks occured on the rocks and reefs at Whitburn Steel, and this led to the area being known as the most dangerous coastline in the country. Wi
