Stockport Flat Investigation 5

On the 3rd of May 2021, I conducted my fifth random word generator based investigation of a flat in the Stockport area of England. I used the Spirit Talker app, and it was the tenth time in total that I had used this app. The investigation began at 22:55:17 and the final word was spoken at 23:34:32, roughly forty minutes later. This post will be just like the others I've done where I've analysed the words lists generated by this app, and as this is the fifth word list generated in this location the next word list based post I do will be a big cross analysis to see if there are any patterns across all lists in this location when compared. It should be a big post, and hopefully very interesting and revealing as to if this particular app has any legitimacy to it, so make sure you keep an eye out for it on this blog.

Above, you can see what is a very long list of words generated. There are fifty words in total, which makes this quite an excellent list to analyse due to the amount of data provided.

Positives:

1. In heaven
2. Admire
3. Wow
4. Don't be afraid
5. Kiss

Negatives:

1. Can't breathe
2. Dangerous
3. Screaming
4. Fearful
5. Argue
6. Destroy
7. Cursed
8. He scares people
9. Avoid
10. Angry
11. Problem
12. Scratch

As you can see, there is a 5:12 ratio of positives:negatives, which means over 1/5 of the words in this list were negative. There are three words I wasn't sure on, so I left them in with what I call the neutrals. These are: 'Forgive me', 'Like', and 'Cool'. Without further context, there isn't a way of knowing exactly how these words were intended to be said. 'Forgive me' could have been a spirit feeling guilty and asking for forgiveness, which can be seen as a positive, but then you could also look at that as something bad has happened because of that spirit and so you can put that as a negative. 'Like' could be referring to the spirit liking something, or it could be used as a comparison. 'Cool' also has a double meaning. Either it can be used to say something is positive, or to say that something is cold.

Looking through the words, I can't see a clear narrative that runs across more than a couple of words. 'Kiss', 'Admire', and 'Wow' could all be connected. The negatives all imply that there was some sort of incident with a male aggressor. Perhaps this aggressor strangled someone? There just isn't enough there to know for certain. A point of significance is that about five minutes after 'Hunting' is said, 'Hunt' is then spoken. This is one of two times in this list that something has been repeated, albeit repeated with a slight shortening of the word. Perhaps this refers to the aggressive male hunting someone? Or maybe it refers to the more traditional hunter of wild animals? Again, there is too little to go on. The other time this has happened is 'Can't breathe' and 'Breath'. This still alludes to a strangling, or some sort of altercation occurring where someone then couldn't breathe.

No dates are spoken in this list, but there is a number: 'Eighteen'. Looking at this, I would assume this is alluding to an age of someone, but it could just be a random word that the app has generated.

Names:

1. Margaret
2. Frank
3. Arthur
4. George
5. Leo
6. Thomas
7. Alma
8. Katie
9. Bert

Very nearly 1/5 of this words list were names. That seems incredibly high, just as with negatives spoken. In the big cross analysis post, I will see if this is a common trend. The closest male names spoken to 'He scares people' are 'Frank' and 'Arthur'. As 'Avoid' is spoken after 'Frank', and 'Arthur' is sandwiched between two positives, I would suspect Frank to be the 'He' mentioned, unless of course the spirit never said who.

Now for the patterns and numbers bit. Above, you can see a table which lists the first twenty five words. Beside these words are the times they are spoken, along with both the time spans between words and an arrow representing whether there was an increase or a decrease in time taken to respond. The green arrow is a decrease, the red arrow is an increase. The first point of analysis is the two arrows which are lying on their side and facing one another. This means there has been neither an increase or decrease in time taken to respond. It's these kinds of anomalies which I'm particularly interested in. If this is truly a random word generator then there should be a third of a chance of each outcome occurring. This means increases, decreases, and neither, should all appear around 16 or 17 times each.

In this first part of the list there are 12 decreases in response time, and 11 increases in response time. This is very nearly a 50/50 split, which, excluding the presence of neithers, is expected for a generator where the choice is either an increase or decrease. There are two triple decreases in time, and one triple increase in time. Again, I view these instances as anomalies and far more significant than any doubles, of which there are a few. Really, the list looks quite neat with all the doubles and triples. This is definitely something of note, and I would expect other lists to not look like this one with how the arrows are arranged.

The image above is the second part of the words list generated. This one appears to be a bit more erratic than the first as it has far more singles, and even shows a pattern of these singles alternating from word 34 up to word 42. This is a pattern consisting of nine arrows. There are 13 decreases, and 11 increases in this part of the list. This creates an overall ratio of 25:22 with two instances of neither an increase or decrease occurring. This shows that overall the response times were speeding up, but it was barely noticeable. For nine arrows to show a pattern, out of a potential 49, this also seems surprisingly high. 24 of these were included in a double arrow, or triple arrow, instance. That is half the list. Again, looking at it now, it seems unusually high.

A point I think I've mentioned in previous lists is that the words spoken around the instances where the time to respond is the same are potentially of incredible significance. These words are: 'Hunting', 'Argue', and 'Destroy', along with 'Whenever', 'George', and 'It was me'. 'Argue' and 'George' are the ones spoken inbetween the time duplication. It's of interest that I've discussed how 'Hunting' could be relevant due to its duplication, and how 'Argue' could also be relevant due to the altercation that may have occured with the 'He', and here they are being highlighted by an anomaly with the arrows.

In conclusion:

I think the next post where I cross reference these lists is going to be huge. At least, I hope it is. I think we could see a good trend towards this Spirit Talker app being legitimate due to these odd little trends and coincidences you see here and there. I think there has definitely been some sort of altercation, perhaps an arguement, with a male in the location which has led to a loss of breath and potential death from that. I speculated that 'Frank' or 'Arthur' could be the 'He' but after seeing 'George' so close to that anomaly, and 'Argue', I wouldn't be surprised if it was that name which was significant. We will see when I look back through the previous four lists generated in this location.
