The True Paranormal: 2024 Blog Update

Hello! This isn't going to be a typical post from this blog. Instead, it's going to let you all know my current plans for the new year so that you know what type of thing to expect from this blog, and how often to expect it.

I know I've done one of these posts before, and I did an awful job at sticking to it, but this year I've arranged for the shifts I work at my normal job to be tied down to the fixed days of Thursday and Saturday, meaning I'm free the rest of the week to be working on this blog. I've also got a manager now to keep me on schedule with posts and to do monthly reviews of the blog to make sure everything is performing as it should.

This being said, here is the vague outline of my weekly schedule:

Sunday: Write
Monday: Post (Location)
Tuesday: Write
Wednesday: Write
Thursday: Work
Friday: Post (Experience/Review)
Saturday: Work

I've started the week from a Sunday as that is when my rota at work starts. As you can see, I will be posting about a location every Monday and I will be posting about someone's experience, or a review of something, every Friday. The location posts will be like the Red Lion Pub post I've recently done, the experiences like the Haunted Homies posts I've done, and the reviews like the Most Haunted posts I've done.

I'm hoping that when we reach summer, I will hopefully have a good backlog of posts written up and ready to publish. If this is the case, then I will start posting my own investigations and theories on a Wednesday. I know I still need to analyse the results of the investigation I did over October last year, so you can realistically expect this to either be done on a Wednesday during summer, or it will take over the Friday slot. It definitely needs to be done before October this year so that I can try my best to replicate the investigation and appropriately build upon it.

Through January, every Friday post will be a review of the investigation Most Haunted did over Halloween last year. After I've reviewed PT5, the following week will be a Haunted Homies experience discussion to give me a bit of break from Most Haunted, but then the following week will be a post discussing my thoughts of Most Haunted's Halloween special as a whole.

You can also expect a live stream from me on Facebook every Friday. The live stream will be my summarised thoughts on the experience or review I've posted on that day as I know those posts can be quite lengthy to read. All live streams will be saved and then uploaded to the True Paranormal YouTube channel. I can't promise that the lives will be anything more than me incoherently mumbling about things and going off on random tangents, but I'll try my best to keep what I'm discussing clear and relevant.

I will likely also do a bit of an overhaul of last years blog posts at some point, although I'm not at all sure on when. I know there are posts which need updating, such as my posts discussing the Ghosts of Britain team and the Most Haunted team. There are also posts I feel I need to rewrite such as my early word list analysis posts as I have since outlined and adjusted the criteria for me to discuss for those posts. Anything else will just be combed through for the inevitable spelling mistake.

Finally, I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone for supporting The True Paranormal over the last year. It's the first year of me running this blog, and I think it's shown extremely promising results. I'm hoping that this continues through this year as I feel there is lots of misinformation and misconception regarding the paranormal, and I would like to try and set this right with this blog. If this is the first post you've read from The True Paranormal, please feel free to follow on Facebook, X (formerly known as Twitter), Tumbler, and YouTube. I hope you all have a wonderful new year!
