Journal Entry 10

1/11/22 - Entry 10

The time is 14:39 and the headache I woke up with is starting to wear off. I don't know if it's related to the investigations I did last night/this early morning, but it's located on my forehead and I usually don't get headaches there.

Both investigations went well, although nothing of absolute significance happened. The first investigation began at 23:15:02 and ran until 00:09:03. I had three cat balls out, the bear, the word app running, seven candles lit in the form of a cross, the Ouija board out, and both the plasma ball and k2 meter running. To begin with I had the plasma ball on the vibration setting but then after about 30 minutes I switched it to just be on.

I said 'The Lord Is My Shepherd' again before starting the Ouija session and finished it by reciting both the Lord's Prayer and a repeat of 'The Lord Is My Shepherd'. From looking over the words list, it seems quite a few sentences and interactive things were said, such as 'who are you' and 'go deeper'. Through the investigation it seemed like it was taking a while for words to come through, I wouldn't be surprised if the average time spoken is over 50 seconds, especially for the second investigation.

Nothing happened with any devices of note. One cat ball went off a few times as words were spoken, but it was on the same table and as I suspected the vibrations caused by the tablet speaking could have been setting off the ball, I moved the ball to the floor beneath the tablet and it didn't go off again.

The second investigation began at 03:00:11 and I used the same devices as before and kept everything in the same place. I had taken a nap for a couple of hours between investigations to regain energy during which I had a vivid dream about communicating with spirits. It's a shame I can't remember the details of this dream as due to me napping in the same room I had investigated in, this could have been the spirits still trying to communicate something with me.

The second session ran until 03:47:36 and I found out the plasma ball very easily sets off the k2 meter. I noticed the second green light flickering a little so called out to see if it could light up any more and it seemed like it did. I picked up the k2 and moved it closer to the plasma ball and it shot up to red, so I classed this activity as debunked. While checking this, 'amazing', 'haha', and 'comedy' were all spoken which could have been the spirit laughing at my misinterpretation. I placed the k2 back down and made sure it was out of range of the plasma ball by moving the ball a little further away and the meter a little further away.

I explained to the spirit that just like the plasma ball, they should be able to light up the k2 and as I explained this, I saw the k2 flash the orange light in the middle even though it was definitely out of range of the plasma ball. Maybe there are anomalies with the ball where the radius is briefly increased, I don't know, but it didn't happen through the previous session and it didn't happen again.

I ended the session the same way as the last and went to sleep straight away. It's strange that nothing happened of note, but I suspect the words lists may hold some interesting data and so I look forward to analysing them. My headache is definitely very strange and started during my sleep, but I was careful with the investigation so I'm sure it will be fine if it is at all spirit related.

My Present Thoughts

I have been incredibly excited for this journal entry as it discusses the night I will always refer back to whenever discussing why I think the Spirit Talker app could very well be legitimate. There is a skeptical argument to what I'm about to discuss, but as I haven't knowingly encountered what I'm about to discuss with any other word lists created; I suspect the skeptical arguement could be invalid. For me, it's the second word list which is particularly interesting. This was my first Halloween night investigating with the Ouija board, and I knew I had to test the board at 3am. This is why I had a nap between investigations. I knew tiredness could play tricks on the mind, especially while doing something 'spooky' on Halloween night at 3am. This could very well have been what had influenced my dream, so I don't take that as absolute proof of spirits being present; just as something of note.

The really great thing I often tell people actually isn't noted in my journal entry. I don't know why, but this is why I make these entries and save the word lists. It has been said that the most active time for spirits is 3am. I don't know if that's exactly 3am, or between 3am and 4am, which would make the most active time 3.30am. It's the second word list which includes what I believe could have been a spirit laughing at me with the successive words of 'amazing', 'ha ha' and 'comedy', but it also features another good string of words; with this string occuring between 03:27:10 and 03:29:05. As can be seen in the image, the words were 'hear my footsteps', 'approach', 'approach', and 'the devil is here'. You could argue that 'I'm protecting you' could have been related, but we don't know that for sure as it doesn't particularly follow the narrative of someone, possibly the devil, approaching.

Whenever I recount this segment of the list, I always say it said 'the devil is here' bang on 3:30am. As you can see, it actually occured 55 seconds beforehand. I still find it incredibly interesting that this narrative, which is the only time I can recall that I've encountered a four (potentially five) word narrative, occured in the build up to 3:30am on Halloween night. The skeptical argument here is that the designers of the app preprogrammed this segment to play at this time in order to spook people on Halloween. I've since investigated on many other occasions at 3am, and I have investigated again on Halloween night, and it hasn't happened again. This was the most unusual and fascinating response Spirit Talker has provided, and is a big reason why I keep using the app.

Now, does this mean the devil was there? No. It could very well have been a huge coincidence. It is strange to me though that I had a strange headache after this investigation, and that I didn't write what is a highly significant and memorable block of words into my journal as recollection of the investigation. I believe it also goes to show, if the devil did show up, that the prayers recited as protection did nothing. This means either the prayers are false, or the Spirit Talker app is; religion vs technology caused by the supposed presence of a figure documented in religion. It's extremely interesting. Of course, there is still the argument that it all could have been some sort of remotely pre-programmed hoax for Halloween night by the creators of the app. We may never know for sure, but the investigation definitely showed interesting results and further emphasised why the plasma ball cannot be used in conjunction with the k2 meter.

It is important to note, for anyone who doesn't know me, that I am not a religious person. I believe to accurately research and investigate the paranormal, you need to involve religious concepts and beliefs. This is why I recited the prayers, and why I entertain the possibility of creatures such as the devil existing. It's all interwoven and connected, and it's an investigators job to investigate everything; not just what falls within their personal field of belief.

Thank You!

Thank you for reading this journal entry! I do feel it's one of the more important entries as it does contain information on what I deem is an important event. It's also important to note that while discussing the event with people at work, the light above my head did start flickering. It's likely just a coincidence, but it did freak out the people I told the story to. I believe it's also this event which has caused those I work with to claim that I'm possessed. I want to make it clear that I don't believe I am, but it was definitely an interesting investigation.
