Location X Cross Reference

Image
In this post I will look over all four of the tables I've created from the words lists I gathered at Location X: an anonymous location in the Manchester area of the UK. As I have already discussed the patterns seen in each individual table in previous posts, I will try and keep the recap brief and focus mainly on the cross referencing. To start with I will discuss the times taken for each word to be spoken. Each image below is in order of how I've numbered the tables and each now table starts with W1 in the left hand column. Min = minimum time taken for a word to be said. Max = maximum time taken for a word to be said. Avg = the average time taken for a word to be said. Table 1: Min = 27s    Max = 1m 9s    Avg = 52.077s Table 2: Min = 20s    Max = 1m 8s    Avg = 43.2s Table 3: Min = 20s    Max = 1m 11s  Avg = 43s Table 4: Min = 20s    Max = 1m 2s    Avg = 37.583s I find looking at those numbers above extremely exciting as two coincidences can be seen from the average time taken

Location X General Walk Investigation part 2

This words list was done as I walked back from the first floor if this location to the ground floor. Its so brief because this list was done as I was leaving and just as with the first words list at this location, I didn't talk to the spirits. As I've mentioned on my previous posts about this location, it will continue to remain anonymous due to me not having permission from the person who runs the place to investigate here, but I did have permission from a member of staff who works at this location. All of these lists were done while the location was closed due to the pandemic, and the location is in the Manchester area of the UK.  This words list was created on the 2nd of May 2021 and I switched on the app to start generating words at 12:50:30 which was about ten minutes after the previous words list ended. I would class three of the twelve words spoken as being negative, these being 'I don't want to talk', 'I scare people', and 'Collapse&#

This word list is the longest on the blog so far and with 43 words spoken over the course of about 30 minutes its one of my longer investigations. I currently believe my longest word lists tend to run over a course of 50 minutes, but regardless of how long the investigation runs for, 43 words is a good amount to analyse as any patterns which are to occur should be seen in the list, unlike previous word lists where if it goes a word or two longer then a pattern would hopefully be established. This investigation is the third part of four words lists I did in this location on the 2nd of May 2021. It took place while the location was closed during the pandemic and it was only myself and a staff member in the building at the time. The location is in the Manchester area of the UK, but I'm not going to say exactly where as even though the staff member gave me permission to investigate, the person who runs the building did not give permission.  Now to analyse the words. I turne

Location X main investigation part 1

On the 2nd of May 2021 I got the opportunity to investigate a particular building in the Manchester area which will remain anonymous due to reasons explained in my previous blog. The investigation started at 10:46:01 and at the time I only had the spirit talker app to use as equipment. This meant there was a good amount of time sitting in a spacious room on the first floor listening to the words come through, along with the sounds around me. I spoke to the spirits during this investigation and at some point during this word list or the next word list I became convinced that there was someone walking around the room in one of the back passages which led from one side to the other. I asked the only other person in the building at the time if it was them, and they responded by saying as the person who runs the place hadn't given permission for me to investigate while the location was closed that he didn't want to get caught on a camera messing around with me. I can'

This words list is part one of four of an investigation I did at this location which I will call Location X. I did this investigation while the location was closed during the pandemic and while I did get permission to investigate the location by the staff member who was in the building with me at the time, I did not get permission from the person who runs the building and so I will keep it anonymous to avoid any disputes. The location is in the Manchester area, and although a few staff members have claimed it to be haunted, the person who runs the building adamantly disagrees.  The building has a ground floor and a first floor, and this list was created as I made my way to the first floor of the building. I didnt speak out to any spirits as this list was created, this was created purely from what was attempting to communicate with me so I would expect the words to seem random and disjointed as I'm not leading any conversation and as I passed from one place to the next I

The Pendle Witches

Image
Pendle Hill is located in the east of Lancashire, England and stands 557 metres above sea level. It is often claimed as being one of the most haunted locations in the UK and with a bronze age burial site at its summit, and all of the local history regarding witches, its not surprising. In this blog, I will discuss the pendle witches and one of a few slight variations of the story surrounding them.  The main witches accused were Elizabeth Southerns (aka Demdike), Elizabeth Device (the daughter of Demdike), James Device and Alizon Device (the grandchildren of Demdike), Anne Whittle (aka Chattox), and Anne Redferne (the daughter of Chattox). Others accused were Jane Bulcock, her son John Bulcock,  Alice Nutter, Katherine Hewitt, Alice Grey, and Jennet Preston.  The events all began on the 18th March 1612 during the reign of King James I. Kind James was extremely paranoid about witches and thought they were out to get him. He even wrote the book Daemonologie which discussed suc
